We regret to announce that Café 27 will be closed to the public until further notice.
In March this year, because of Covid-19 restrictions, we were forced to close Brandon Day Centre and Café 27.
Whilst we are delighted to be re-opening Brandon Day Centre on Wednesday 30 September 2020, Café 27 will remain closed until further notice.
This isn’t a decision we have taken lightly but in order to run a Covid-safe service, we have had to put a number of measures in place to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of those using our day care service, including adequate social distancing. Instead of our day care members sitting together in one large group, they will spend the day in a small group or ‘bubble’. To ensure the centre remains Covid-safe, we need to make use of all available space at the Centre, including the café area, to enable smaller groups of people to relax, feel comfortable and enjoy the activities planned for that particular day.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to visitors to Café 27, but hope you will understand that our day care service has to remain our priority whilst there is still a threat of the spread of Covid-19.
