Voluntary position – Full or Half-Day Session(s)
Based at All Hallows Day Centre, Ditchingham
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team of volunteers at All Hallows Day Centre which is based just outside of Bungay.
About the role
As a volunteer at the Day Centre, you will help the team of carers ensure that customers are comfortable during their visit and assist with, or take the lead, with customer activities either on a 1-2-1 basis, or in small groups. Activities can be anything from arts and crafts, reading, reminiscing, giving a talk on a hobby or experience, leading an armchair exercise session, or providing entertainment. You will also help with laying tables for lunch, making and serving refreshments and generally help the staff as required.
All applications will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.
